Oh, where to begin… this was just a fantastic wedding at Moness Resort in Aberfeldy, Perthshire.
I knew from first meeting Ellie & Val that they had some surprises in store for their guests. These included their entrance on trikes, a fantastic choreographed first dance (where I was warned not to get too close as it might be dangerous!), and some wonderful and unusual evening entertainment with lots of games and activities.
They even got all their guests up dancing the Macarena!
As a Perthshire wedding photographer I love capturing weddings where couples really make the day their own, and this was a perfect example. From the unexpected moments to the laughter, dancing and all the little details, it was exactly the kind of relaxed, fun celebration that suits my documentary-style wedding photography.
My cheeks hurt from smiling so much that day, and it was such a pleasure capturing it all on camera. I absolutely loved photographing this Moness Resort wedding and telling the story of Ellie & Val's day as it happened.
