Kind words

It's a delight photographing weddings, and nothing makes me happier than satisfied clients. I have lovely reviews on both Google and Facebook. Below are some more of the lovely comments people have made about my wedding photography:

"We can't recommend Marieke enough. She was fantastic from beginning to end. Helpful with everything from location scouting to even being one of our witnesses for our very micro wedding. The pictures are stunning, and the colour and clarity of them is amazing. Everyone has commented on the quality of the pictures, and the incredibly quick turnaround, we had our photos back less than 24hrs after our wedding. She is such a warm and welcoming person who really puts you at ease. Thanks again Marieke for making our day so special." - Becky Cargill (wedding at Perth Registry Office and Kinnoull Hill)

"Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Marieke, having had such a wonderful experience at our recent micro wedding. From our initial meeting, to her scouting the venue ahead of our big day, together with her relaxed approach that perfectly matched ours, she has captured such beautiful memories of our special day. She was and absolute joy to work with, her warmth and enthusiasm even putting some of our more camera shy guests at ease! We will treasure our photos for years to come, thank you so much!" - Nicky Grant (wedding at the Explorers Garden at Pitlochry Festival Theatre)

"Marieke was amazing, made us feel so comfortable and the photos are incredible - exactly what we wanted! She really captured how beautiful the setting was/is and how happy we both were on the day. We knew from the start that she was the right photographer for us, and we weren't wrong. I wish I could give more stars!!!" - Fiona Logan (wedding at The Hermitage, Dunkeld)

"Marieke photographed my sister's wedding previously and so having her back for ours was a very easy decision. She has captured our day perfectly, getting really special moments on camera without us even being aware she was taking the photo. She was very kind and made us both feel very at ease during photos. She was also incredibly fast at getting our photos back to us, both online albums and a lovely personalised USB with all the files. Cannot recommend Marieke enough to capture your special day." - Jenny Drysdale (wedding at a family home near Loch Leven, Fife)

"I cannot recommend this lovely lady highly enough. An amazing wedding day captured perfectly by Marieke on camera. Wedding on Saturday and I had my photos back by Tuesday. Thank you so much." - Lorna Hardie (wedding at the Dunkeld House Hotel, Dunkeld)

"Recently got married near Loch Leven and asked Marieke to be our photographer, following a recommendation from a friend. She came a did a visit and walk around with us the week before, dealt with very windy conditions and took some really beautiful pictures of our day. She has a magical ability to be almost invisible and also must have been running laps as she got pictures from many different angles of our ceremony, as well as the speeches, without us seeing her. Really captured our day perfectly, thank you Marieke!" - Kath Rogers (another wedding at a family home near Loch Leven, Fife)

"We would highly recommend Marieke to anybody looking for a wedding photographer. Marieke is talented, organised and very kind. She always replied quickly to any communication and we received our photos less than 2 weeks after our wedding - super fast! Marieke captured the setting and feelings of love and joy beautifully. She made us feel at ease throughout the day. Marieke struck a lovely balance of taking photos of us as a couple and allowing us to spend time with family/friends. Your images bring us and our loved ones so much joy. Thank you very much!" - Fiona Anderson (wedding at The Hermitage, Dunkeld)

"Thank you for our beautiful wedding pictures. You captured our day perfectly and you were so discreet during our ceremony, we didn't even notice you! Everyone who was there that we have spoken to since mentioned how subtle and unnoticeable you were throughout the day. All we can do is sing your praises! We will treasure our photos for years to come. Thank you so much." Zofia & Ross Eaglesfield (wedding at Molteno Hall in Fortingall)

"Marieke, you are a fantastic photographer! You were there for the most of the day with us, but you never got in somebody's way - people were relaxed and never noticed that they were photographed which is great as I do not like posing for photos and pictures of me being taken. I always believed that the best photos are the ones taken when people are unaware of the photographer - you have achieved it. You have done great job - everyone who sees our photos loves them! Thank you Marieke! Xxx" - Julia Christie (wedding at St David's Parish Church and Murrayshall House Hotel, Scone)

"It was a fantastic day, and you were lovely. You made us feel so relaxed!"  - Katy Gow (wedding at Glamis Castle).

"We booked Marieke to photograph our wedding ceremony and some portraits afterwards. We had a great pre-wedding meeting at The Kenmore Hotel and went through everything. On the day, the sun was out and she managed to capture our special moments along with some lovely portraits afterwards. I admit I may have been demanding on the day as I am a photographer myself, but she did a great job! As a bonus her ceilidh band was also booked for the evening and went down a treat with our guests! Thank you for everything!" - Kris Clarke (wedding at the Kenmore Hotel)
