With over 20 years of experience I take a relaxed, reportage approach, capturing real moments as they unfold throughout the day.
I work quietly in the background so you can fully enjoy your wedding, while documenting everything from the big moments to the small, meaningful details. Alongside this, I’ll always create some natural portraits - often by heading out for a short walk nearby, giving you and your partner a chance to relax and share a few precious moments away from the flow of the day.
As a wedding photographer based in Perthshire, I’m especially drawn to outdoor celebrations, natural light, and all the personality that comes with them; whether that’s windswept landscapes, muddy wellies, children running wild, or dogs stealing the spotlight.

Killin Wedding Photography
A joyful wedding for Laura and Mark in the Perthshire village of Killin. The ceremony took place in the local church and we took a walk down to the famous bridge of the Falls of Dochart to take some portraits. The meal and evening party were at the Dunblane Hydro in Stirlingshire, a perfect venue for a wedding celebration.

This is Fiona & Nick’s autumnal wedding at NTS The Hermitage in Dunkeld. The rich seasonal colours and stunning woodland setting created an unforgettable atmosphere for their autumn woodland wedding. From intimate moments on a historical bridge to strolls under a canopy of amber leaves, every photograph captures the love and magic of their day. Celebrations continued at the Huntingtower Hotel in Perth, a perfect Perthshire wedding venue.
Dunkeld House Hotel Wedding Photography
A beautiful Perthshire wedding for Lorna & Fraser at Dunkeld House Hotel, set on the banks of the River Tay in Dunkeld. With sunshine all day, they celebrated in both the hotel and a marquee in the grounds, surrounded by family and friends. As a Perthshire wedding photographer, I captured relaxed moments by the river, natural portraits, and all the little details that made their day so special.

An intimate woodland wedding for Stacey and Bradley at the Allean Forest near Pitlochry in Perthshire. This was a brilliant afternoon with just a very small group of us, with towering trees, beautiful sunlight and stunning views over Loch Tummel and the Queen’s View. Festival-style Wedding near Loch Leven, Fife
Kath and Hugh had a wonderful laid-back wedding by Loch Leven in Fife, Scotland. It was full of sunshine, blustery wind and festival vibes. Set in a beautiful outdoor location on Kath's family farm, the day featured colourful details, relaxed celebrations, and plenty of candid moments. Every moment was captured in natural, storytelling photography that reflects the joy and celebratory atmosphere of the day.
Scottish Beach Wedding Photography
Even though I mostly work as a Perthshire wedding photographer, I absolutely will travel anywhere in Scotland, especially if it's to fantastic destinations like this one on the Isle of Bute. From getting ready at the Glenburn Hotel to a sunny beach ceremony and relaxed picnic, Charlie and Emma's day was full of seaside fun and sunshine. After a quick ferry crossing, celebrations continued at the Colintraive Hotel - a perfect ending to a joyful Scottish island wedding.

Having both a deeply personal humanist service as well as a meaningful and vibrant Indian ceremony made for a stunning showcase of love, colour and culture.

Alexandra and Grant’s wedding at Boreland Loch Tay was a perfect celebration in the heart of Perthshire. I joined Alexandra in the morning to capture her getting ready before the ceremony in Boreland’s rustic cowshed. The outside area provided a stunning backdrop for group photos with views over Loch Tay and the hills beyond. The beach is just a short drive away, where I took some portraits on the shores of Loch Tay.

Fiona and Gary's beautiful wedding at one of my Perthshire favourite wedding venues, Comrie Croft. They got ready on-site, using the farmhouse and bunkhouse before their ceremony in the spacious barn. The couple decorated the venue themselves, creating a beautiful space for their wedding day. Despite it being February, we were blessed with stunning spring sunshine, perfect for natural and relaxed wedding photography.

Sarah & Craig’s intimate springtime wedding at Alexander House near Auchterarder, Perthshire, was truly unique. The lingering fog created an atmospheric backdrop, adding a touch of real Scottish charm to their wedding photography. The fog would simply not lift, but that did not stop everyone from having the most wonderful day. I loved the opportunity to take some unusual atmospheric wedding portraits!
